The focus of Parents Against Drug Dealing, Inc. is to involve the community through awareness and education concerning illegal drug use and to hold accountable the Law Enforcement and the Criminal Justice System in the prosecution and rehabilitation of the offenders.
Drug abuse in our society is virtually an epidemic. So, how do you protect your children? How do you keep them away from drugs?
Unfortunately, it’s nearly impossible to keep your children from having contact with others who are abusing drugs. And you cannot always be there with them to help them make the right decisions. Therefore, it is essential that your children understand the effects that drugs have on the mind and body.
Resisting peer pressure can be hard for children at times, but if they believe strongly about something they will usually act with integrity and courage. Your responsibility as a parent is to educate your children on the harmful effects of drugs, so they can and will say “No”.
